Tip to save time when making food.

One of the tips that I learned  from my mother in law when I arrived in Brazil – 1986 – was a paste that she made once every two or three months. This paste is made of garlic, onions and salt and it is called tempero. As I started to live my life here in Brazil, I realized that most people do that to speed up the making  of food and still have the good flavor of  onions and garlic when preparing food. I usually dont have the patience to pill garlic and cut onions everytime we need to make food, so when I saw my mother in law prepare a whole meal in a matter of minutes I knew cooking would be possible for me.
